Institute on Philanthropy and Voluntary Service: (The Institute is an intensive eight-week residential program for college undergraduates active in service held in Washington, DC. During the summer, approximately 35 students take courses on the history and ethics of philanthropy and volunteerism at Georgetown University. Students also hold internships with nonprofit organizations, attend presentations by leading figures from the nonprofit sector and participate in a variety of service projects.)
